Summit 4WD RTR: This review is from: 1/16 Summit VXL 4WD RTR with 2.4 Radio (Toy) I have this truck and it is awesome. It is fully waterproof so you can drive it in water. It is 4WD and it can still do back flips with the extra battery and series connector. This truck is very fast and a truck worth getting. Just because the truck is over $300 it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get it. You will love it and want to play with it every day.

The stock “charger” is a joke, have never even used it, 6 hours to charge 1 battery NO thanks. The first thing too get is a smart charger, that is the basic thing anyone needs; charge time for me 20min on my 1200mAp batteries, 30-35min for my 1400mAp batteries @ 2amps. I figured it’d be fairly slow with the stock battery…boy was I wrong!!! It was literally doing backflips, and catching air, all straight outta the box! I’ve got a hyperion top of the line battery charger coming in the mail along with two Life 1050 3S 9.9V batteries. That should make this thing really scream!!!! Bottom line, if you are taking the time to look @ this product, look no further. Buy it! You will enjoy the crap outta it!!! Trust me, I’ve done research, been to events, seen everything in action. If ur lookin for something simple to charge, plug in, and PLAY with, you found it! Plus there are a ton of upgrades if you are like me and want to really get into the nitty gritty.
